RESULTS - feels - weekly

[WHAT]

] by Don Sagrott founder @ sospep.com - documenting the changes in FEELS after going on my DIET-sans-sucre

[WHY]

] to monitor the results of being on the DIET-no-sugar by recording how I feel VS just recording weights & measure

[WHERE]

]

[WHEN]

] 2016-07

[EXAMPLE]

[2016-07-04]

] note = + fitness * 3

[2016-07-11] ( some promising results in the first few weeks )

] note = + fitness * 3, a great start, BUT now vacation week ahead

[2016-07-12] a sugar hangover?

] after eating almost none/minimal sugar for several days, then eating a lot of sugar in one evening (large DQ ice cream cake) I am feeling pretty crappy on the morning after. I have a headache, nausea, sore kidneys/back. I feel no different then if I would have drank a 1/2 dozen or more beers. Really!! Is this possible?

[2016-07-14] swim = fitness?

] am i going to count swimming at the beach as fitness? NOT likely, the swimming was more cooling off splashing around, Now if I was actually swimming, that would be a different story, I could definetely count that

[2016-07-18] ( vacations are NOT good for diet RESULTs ) ] SUMMARY

] note = + fitness * 0, this was vacation week, I am starting a new blind weigh in strategy. The weight loss #'s will now be posted on a monthly basis.

] I am guessing I gained back close to all the previous losses(-11.5#). Maybe a little less.

] I am FEELing pretty bloated and heavy after a week of gorging and drinking copious amounts of beer.

] Dont get me wrong - it was a good week on the vacation front, and I enjoyed every bite and most every drink ... BUT ...

] NEXT time - TRY go a little easier on the beer, do a little (some) exersize ( a hike, a bike ride )

[2016-07-25] a bad day - self sabotage with CHIPS -

] - was having a good DIET day - excellent meals, an acceptable cheat of peice of fresh baked blueberry pie AND even very good on th i-s-l side today ( it even seems to look better for the first time in a while ... ) and THEN chips -- first 50 g of the good stuff, OK a second little cheat for the day, ( i could have lived with that )-- BUT THEN problably about 100g of the meh stuff --- WHY ... especially when THEY are NOT that good and things are/were going so well-- FEEL - bad afterwords, bloated and guilty, I dont feel good - NOT the way to start the week!

[2016-07-25] ( getting back on the DIET track ) ] SUMMARY

] a great improvement from the previous week in both DIET and FITNESS

] note = + fitness * 3.5

] DIET

] wasnt perfect but was a huge improvement over the previous week ( 2 vg, 3 g, 2 ok VS 7 bad )

] HEALTH

] is pretty similar results, I changed up my treatment plan at the end of the week. There has been little change or improvement in first 30 (-7) days of being on this diet

] FITNESS

] Did a great job at getting right back on the FITNESS track. It was a bit more difficult the first couple of days, especially at the beginning of the workout but once i got going, again not too bad

] THINKING that on a typical 'good week' of diet and fitness, I probably average a weight loss of approximately 2.5#. ] REALISTICALLY it Will/should/could take about 4 good weeks to get back to my pre vacation weight . (which, frankly is a little bit of a depressing thought ). ] NOTE this ASSUMES that I gained 10+# in the previous vacation week and that I didn't get any kind of 'water loss' boost this week because of all the extra water (aka beer) last week, which I likely did

] BUT - isn't this FEELS supposed to be about getting away from worrying about the #'s are as a way to measure progress ...

] I FEEL BETTER at the end of this week, than I did at the end of last week. I wore some clothes that were a bit too snug for comfort last month and they were comfortable. I feel that this week was a good week, not a GREAT week or a perfect week but a good week .

[2016-07-26] carb overload

] -- FEELING - "bloated", "i overate", "lethargic" AFTER approx 6 ish large peirogy(polish-style) with early dinner. Am I NOT used to the big glutenous/doughy carb loaded masses anymore?. Actually not that doughy or carb loaded as polish style are veggie filled(sauerkraut, mushroom) VS potato. Likely the carbs + the big meal effect also ... ANYWAYS ... no tragedy, no guilt, just noting - TIP - try eating 3-4 next time,

[2016-07-31] cravings

] # # - evening cravings today(or just hungry), fairly strong, not for anything specific in particular, pizza maybe, ate instant noodles(+) package and then 2 ICE CREAM novelties late . I downgraded my day rating from good to OK after reviewing.

[HOW-TO]

]

[REFERENCE]

] DIET-no-sugar - contents -
