Also it uses a laser!</li> <li>The screen looks great, but it's not a noticeable improvement over a 1080p device.</li> <li>LG's software mostly looks nice and doesn't overload the user with crap.</li> <li>A removable battery and MicroSD slot.</li> </ol> <h2>[WHY NOT] CONS</h2> <ol> <li>The Battery life during high usage. The screen uses <em>a lot</em> of power. It sucks down power to the point that LG has to throttle down the brightness when the device gets too hot.</li> <li>It's pretty much impossible to tell the difference between 1080p and 1440p on a ~5-inch device.</li> <li>The UI sometimes stutters. Pushing all those pixels takes lots of GPU power that isn't always available.</li> <li>The Recent Apps screen is a cluttered mess. It's also one of the few Android pieces you can't replace.</li> <li>Spec-sheet-driven design. The 534 ppi screen doesn't improve the user experience and drags down battery life, but it will make for good advertisements.</li> </ol> <h2>[WHERE]</h2> <ol style="font-size: 10px; font-weight: normal;"> <li><strong><a href="http://arstechnica.com/gadgets/2014/06/lg-g3-review-a-great-phone-with-way-too-many-pixels/" target="_blank">FULL REVIEW</a> - <a href="http://www.arstechnica.com" target="_blank">@artechnica.com</a> by <a href="/view/person?id=268" target="_blank">Ron Amadeo</a> - <br /></strong></li> </ol> <h2>[WHEN]</h2> <ol style="font-size: 10px; font-weight: normal;"> <li>] 2014-06-14</li> </ol> <h2>[EXAMPLE]</h2> <ol style="font-size: 10px; font-weight: normal;"> <li>]</li> </ol> <h2>[HOW-TO]</h2> <ol style="font-size: 10px; font-weight: normal;"> <li>]</li> </ol> <h2>[REFERENCE]</h2> <ol style="font-size: 10px; font-weight: normal;"> <li>] <a href="/view/article?id=3643" target="_blank">lg g3</a> - an overview of this model, list of features, reviews from multiple sources, analysis, </li> <li>] <a href="/view/article?id=1898" target="_blank">android 4.4 kitkat</a> - an overview of the mobile operating system on this phone, features, pros, cons and links to reviews, analysis and more ...</li> <li>] <span style="text-decoration: underline;">smartphone guide</span> -</li> </ol> <p style="font-size: 10px; font-weight: normal;"> </p>
