<h1 style="text-align: center;">Chocolate Orange Cake</h1> <h2>[ recipe.ingredients ]</h2> <ol> <li><span style="font-size: small;">] 1 large or 2 small oranges ( approx 380-400grams total weight)</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: small;">] 6 eggs</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: small;">] 1 teaspoon baking powder</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: small;">] 1/2 teaspoon baking soda</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: small;">] 200 gram walnuts OR hazelnuts</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: small;">] 250 grams sugar</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: small;">] 50 grams cocoa </span></li> <li><span style="font-size: small;"><strong>[ICING]</strong></span></li> <li><span style="font-size: small;">] 120 grams milk OR dark chocolate</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: small;">] 5-6 tablespoons cream (30%) </span></li> </ol> <h2>[ recipe.instructions ] </h2> <ol> <li><span style="font-size: small;">] On the day before, boil the oranges in water for 2 hours. From time to time add water and turn oranges. (they must be covered in water). Keep the cooked oranges in the fridge overnight.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: small;">] Next day, cut the oranges into 1/8 peices leaving the peel on.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: small;">] Put the pieces into the blender and blend until mixture is smooth.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: small;">] Beat the eggs with sugar for approx. 1 minute.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: small;">] Add the rest of the ingredients and stir for another minute. </span></li> <li><span style="font-size: small;">] Combine the eggs&ingredients mixture with the blended oranges</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: small;">] Pour the cake mixture into a 22 CM pan.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: small;">] Preheat the oven to 180C/350F, then bake the cake for approx. 1 hour</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: small;">] for the last 15 minutes, cover with aluminum foil</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: small;">] Remove the cake from the oven and use knife to seperated cake from the pans edge. </span></li> <li><span style="font-size: small;">] let cake cool for approx. 2 hours</span></li> <li><strong><span style="font-size: small;">[ICING]</span></strong></li> <li><span style="font-size: small;">] Break chocolate into peices and place in stainless bowl over pot of boiling water until chocolate melts</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: small;">] Add cream to melted chocolate and mix well.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: small;">] Spread the icing on the cake</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: small;">] Sprinke the cocoa over the top of the cake, once you have completed icing it.</span></li> </ol> <h2>] notes</h2> <ol> <li><span style="font-size: small;">] DON'T STORE THE CAKE IN THE FRIDGE</span></li> </ol> <h2> </h2> <p style="text-align: left;"> </p> <p style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: 2em;"> </span></p>
