<li>] The recent article by Andy entitled "Leaving iOS for BlackBerry is Like Selling a Car to Buy a Horse" is a ridiculous opinion piece that exemplifies the term "clickbait" or "linkbait". </li>
<li>] There is No need to "take the bait" and click the link, I have summarized the 2 key points he makes to back up his "opinion" peice and they are listed below.</li>
<li>] It appears like the article generated a fair amount of activity(100+ comments/approx. 200 shares, at the time I read it) on their website.</li>
<li>] Of the 100+ comments it generated, the overwhelmingly majority, in fact almost all of them at the time&nbsp;I looked at the "opinion"&nbsp;were&nbsp;in defense of Blackberry(BB), it's devices and the BB 10&nbsp;OS</li>
<li>This is even more surprising given that if you compare the size of the blackberry user base to that of the iphone/iOS user base, and given that blackberry users are somewhat of a rarity these days. </li>
<li>] Now there is&nbsp;something to be said for the old PR claim&nbsp;that,&nbsp;"it's not what they say about you, its that they are&nbsp;talking about you"</li>

<li>] absolutely -&nbsp; on the plus side, the name is pretty clear as to what the functionality of the app is, but I absolutely agree that something with more of a "personality" ala Siri or Cortana may have been a much better choice and it would have given Blackberry's Marketing department (if they have one) a bit more to work with when it comes to selling or promoting the app</li>

<li>] Made the switch from iPhone 5 to BB Z10, two months ago and never looked back. Every article mentions apps, between the Android App store (yes you can download those apps and they run just fine) and BB App store have all the apps I could ever want. If you have used a BB the Hub is great, keeps you up to date with a quick swipe of the finger.</li>
<li>] Multi tasking is great, can be in the middle of doing something, text comes in can simply reply without having to switch over to text, can just reply right in the middle of what I am currently doing.</li>
<li>] So for those of you who comment that the OS is behind the others, in my opinion I would have to say you are wrong. Take some time and try out and form your own opinion rather then relying on those who are only speculating.</li>
<li>] From a cost perspective a 64g iPhone will set you back $849 (apple.com), BB Z10, I found online for $199, bought a 64g&nbsp; card for $49, so for $600 less I have a total of 80g.</li>
<li>] I have owned iPhones from the beginning each incarnation, owned a Droid DNA for a short while in there too. But quite happy to say I was open minded enough to make the switch and never looked back. So before someone rights an article with absolutely no support or substance only speculation they should rethink their career choice.</li>

He is advising us not to return to Blackberry, but does not offer a compelling reason other than he spoke to someone who is using a Bold, which is a 3 year old device and that person hates it. I know plenty of people who hate the iPhone after using it and have moved on to other devices. He has probably never used a BB10 device such as a Z30, which is an amazing device.</li>

Y did it hire the lead creator of BlackBerry 10 OS? , BlackBerry may have low shares, but it has what no1 else have, the power of productivity in a secure manner, BlackBerry Assist is a great name, because business users don&rsquo;t name work after their dogs or biscuits</li>
