Now this could all be in my head, but sometimes thats half the battle.</span></p> <h2><strong>[ LEARNED</strong><strong> </strong><strong>]</strong></h2> <p style="padding-left: 30px;"><span style="font-size: small;">What <strong>SURPRISED</strong> Me the most were<strong> 2 things,</strong> # 1] was that other then for a few days ( 2/10) I had <strong>barely any CRAVINGS</strong> and <strong>#2] I was not feeling hungry.</strong> Now, given my protien portions were on the large side(ie 16 oz steak, large cabbage roll)</span></p> <p style="padding-left: 30px;"><span style="font-size: small;">[- MORE - details ] on each aspect of my approach follow ...</span></p> <ol><ol> <li><span style="font-size: small;">REVIEW DIET - a look at what I actually ate(diet-record) in this period VS what I planned to eat(menu-plan)</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: small;">REVIEW HEALTH - monitoring the status of my nasty rash</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: small;">REVIEW FITNESS - tracking the physical activity that I am doing</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: small;">GOING FORWARD - changes to my current strategy</span></li> </ol></ol> <h2><strong>[ REVIEW - DIET ]</strong></h2> <p style="padding-left: 30px;"><span style="font-size: small;">Damn!, I did really good this period. I realize this is the first days of a new program and everyone starts off good, yada, yada BUT what an excellent start, job well done!</span></p> <p style="padding-left: 30px;"><span style="font-size: small;">+ RESULTS - <a href="/view/article?id=5188" target="_blank">weights and measures</a> - after 10 days I am down 8.5# from my starting point on 2016-06-25 </span></p> <h2><strong>[ REVIEW - FITNESS ]</strong></h2> <p style="padding-left: 30px;"><span style="font-size: small;">This plan was/is more about changing my DIET vs being on an exersize program but exersize is good( ?necessary). </span></p> <p style="padding-left: 30px;"><span style="font-size: small;">I had a great start with 4/10 days where I "worked out" and ...</span></p> <p style="padding-left: 30px;"><span style="font-size: small;">I also had 3/10 days where I "exersized". </span></p> <p style="padding-left: 30px;"><span style="font-size: small;">TOTAL days w/exersize = 7/10 or 70% - impressive, with a 40/30 split on Workouts(W) VS Exersize(E). </span></p> <p style="padding-left: 30px;"><span style="font-size: small;">NOTE that this "fitness" could be having "as big as" an "effect" on <a href="/view/article?id=5188" target="_blank"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">my results</span></a> as the diet changes are/will have.</span></p> <p> </p> <h2><strong>[ REVIEW - HEALTH ( CONDITION ) ]</strong></h2> <p style="padding-left: 30px;"><span style="font-size: small;">It's hard to say, I had some good days and some bad days, the question is how do you measure progess on something like this? </span></p> <p style="padding-left: 30px;"><span style="font-size: small;">It certainly didn't disappear (CUREd) / Is it any better? <strong>I can't say definitively as to wether there was any signs of change on the existing affected areas</strong> from the previous 10 day period (] TRY compare earlier photos). </span></p> <p style="padding-left: 30px;"><span style="font-size: small;">Unfortunately on the 2nd last day of this period I have some NEW hives appearing in a new location, are they the same? I am NOT sure if these are related to the existing or ???</span></p> <p style="padding-left: 30px;"><span style="font-size: small;">NEED - I need to find a way to accurately/best measure changes in condition</span></p> <p style="padding-left: 30px;"><span style="font-size: small;">NEED - I need a way to measure/track/monitor symptoms</span></p> <p style="padding-left: 30px;"><span style="font-size: small;">REMINDER - Some previous "research" says that it takes about 1 month of DIET for each year that you've had said skin condition, so I should expect 2 - 3 months </span></p> <h2>[ CONCLUSIONS ] </h2> <p style="padding-left: 30px;"><span style="font-size: small;">After just 10 days on this diet plan I feel better already!! There were 2 things the surprised me the most and they were 1] the lack of cravings and 2] the lack of feeling hungry. I worked out and I exersized and overall I did really good this period. The scale says that I am down 8.5# from my starting point on 2016-06-25. </span></p> <p style="padding-left: 30px;"><span style="font-size: small;">Unfortunately, there has been no noticeable improvement in my skin condition. Some MINOR CHANGES for the next 10 days including ...</span></p> <h2><strong>[ REVISIONS ]</strong></h2> <p style="padding-left: 30px;"><span style="font-size: small;">] REVISION DIET = TRY a new menu plan version - the menu plan will be somewhat/slightly different then the previous weeks but along the same lines </span></p> <p style="padding-left: 30px;"><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-size: small;">] REVISION DIET = UPDATE menu plan = + MORE/ADD = ] brocoli slaw, ] sushi, ] brocoli salad, ] kale salad kit </span></span></p> <p style="padding-left: 30px;"><span style="font-size: small;">] REVISION DIET = ] thoughts on dairy ( yogurt, milk, ), lactose ?</span></p> <p style="padding-left: 30px;"><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-size: small;">] REVISION DIET ! = implement a "reward system" - something along the lines of 1 week "on track" gets you a DIET treat/cheat ( bag of chips OR bowl of ice cream OR ...), OR a "cheater meal" (fish&chips, burger and fries, ) OR both </span></span></p> <p style="padding-left: 30px;"><span style="font-size: small;">] REVISION HEALTH - NEED - some kind of condition monitoring/reporting system to more accurately document changes to skin condition</span></p> <h2><strong>[ CONCERNS ] + REMINDERS</strong></h2> <p style="padding-left: 30px;"><span style="font-size: small;">] CONCERN - teapot hiking incident - </span></p> <p style="padding-left: 30px;"><span style="font-size: small;">] CONCERN - upcoming vacation period - </span></p> <p style="padding-left: 30px;"><span style="font-size: small;">[x] REMINDER - At some point <strong>your going to give in</strong> and <strong>your cravings are going to win</strong> ( chips, ice cream, bread, potatoes, all of the above) - move on with your transgression(s) and get back on a good diet track</span></p> <h2>[ NEXT UPDATE = ]</h2> <p style="padding-left: 30px;"><span style="font-size: small;"><strong>[- after 30 days - ] </strong>COMING - <a href="/view/article?id=5172" target="_blank">2016-08</a> </span></p> <p> </p> <h1 style="text-align: center;"> </h1> <p> </p> <h1 style="text-align: center;"> </h1>
