I either exersized(good) or worked out(very good) on 40% of the days in this time period. This is down from 70% of the days in the previous (much shorter) time period. </span></li> </ol> <p style="padding-left: 30px;"><strong><span style="font-size: small;">HEALTH</span></strong></p> <ol> <li><span style="font-size: x-small;">] # # - </span></li> </ol> <h2>[ <strong>FEELS</strong> = ]</h2> <p style="padding-left: 30px;"><span style="font-size: small;">I am thinking about the <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><a href="/view/article?id=5188" target="_blank">weekly weigh in results</a></span>. I know "i need to" measure progress/or lack there-of BUT thinking about the "results" and the possible outcomes is NOT what I want to be spending time doing. I am going to revise this to doing <span style="text-decoration: underline;">blind weigh ins</span> with the goal of focusing on my <span style="text-decoration: underline;">eating strategy</span> and my <span style="text-decoration: underline;">results-feels</span></span></p> <h2>[+ DISCOVERED + / LEARNED = / SURPRISED ]</h2> <p style="padding-left: 30px;"><strong><span style="font-size: small;">DISCOVERED </span></strong></p> <p style="padding-left: 30px;"><span style="font-size: small;">I like cold oatmeal. I think its better than warm oatmeal.</span></p> <p style="padding-left: 30px;"><span style="font-size: small;">Raw oatmeal is not too bad either, just soak it in a little milk for a few minutes(10) before eating and you are good to go. who knew?</span></p> <p style="padding-left: 30px;"><span style="font-size: small;">Lime and black pepper isn't just for potato chips, it tastes great on corn on the cob as well.</span></p> <p style="padding-left: 30px;"><span style="font-size: small;">+ NEW VEGETABLE - kohlrabi - I just DISCOVERED this "cabbage like" vegetable, eaten raw and cold, or try with add dip/dressing</span></p> <p style="padding-left: 30px;"><span style="font-size: small;"><strong>LEARNED</strong><br /></span></p> <p style="padding-left: 30px;"><span style="font-size: small;">+ pork side slices NOT = bacon, it kinda of looks like bacon, it kinda cooks like bacon, it tastes sort of similar ... BUT it has hard very chewy fat parts that are'nt typically in most bacon products, it costs about the same as your mainstream brands ( currently $15 kg ) and IMO its just not worth it - BUY BACON</span></p> <p style="padding-left: 30px;"><span style="font-size: small;">- roasted roots - may not be recipe of the month, but these are soooooo delicious, quick and easy </span></p> <p style="padding-left: 30px;"><span style="font-size: small;"><strong>SURPRISED</strong></span></p> <p style="padding-left: 30px;"><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-size: small;">125g of greek yogurt(astro authentikos) has MORE SUGAR than 125 ml ice cream ( lucerne nuttin butter) WTF!!</span><br /></span></p> <h2><strong>[ REVIEW - DIET - PLAN vs ACTUAL ]</strong></h2> <p style="padding-left: 30px;"><span style="font-size: small;"><strong>SUMMARY</strong> </span></p> <p style="padding-left: 30px;"><span style="font-size: small;">comparing <span style="text-decoration: underline;">THE RESULTS</span> to <span style="text-decoration: underline;">THE PLAN</span>, lets summarize/highlight <span style="text-decoration: underline;">the good, the bad and the ugly</span> - compare what you ACTUALLY ate to what you SHOULD HAVE eaten. How close did you come to sticking within the guidelines of your DIET PLAN</span></p> <p style="padding-left: 30px;"><span style="font-size: small;">+ RESULTS - <a href="/view/article?id=5188" target="_blank">weights and measures</a> - after 30 days I am down 4.0 #* (use # 2016-07-25) from my starting point on 2016-06-25. I had 3 consecutive weeks of losses totalling 11.5#, 1 week of gains (10#*) and 1 week of losses (2.5#*) NOTE this period included 1 week of vacation, which was also a vacation from this DIET</span></p> <p style="padding-left: 30px;"><span style="font-size: small;">* = estimate</span></p> <h2><strong>[ REVIEW - HEALTH ( CONDITION ) ]</strong></h2> <p style="padding-left: 30px;"><span style="font-size: small;"><strong>SUMMARY</strong> of changes to "condition". - (30 days in ). </span></p> <p style="padding-left: 30px;"><span style="font-size: small;">- on my new WIP 'SC measuring systems' - it seems to be running about 50/50 , 1/2 of the days are with no or minor issues, 1/2 of the days are with periodic "issues".</span></p> <p style="padding-left: 30px;"><strong><span style="font-size: small;">CAUSE.SUSPECT REASONS = </span></strong></p> <p style="padding-left: 30px;"><span style="font-size: small;">1] maybe my PRB is still my diet, i am certainly eating < sugars(mostly natural starches) than before but nowhere near 'no sugar' or even 'low sugar'. </span></p> <p style="padding-left: 30px;"><span style="font-size: small;">My vacation week was also a 'bad' diet week, + alcohol,</span></p> <p style="padding-left: 30px;"><span style="font-size: small;">I have lost weight and I have exersized more (some) and generally I feel better overall BUT it is likely that there is still far too much sugar ... in my DIET - if that is the root cause of this PRB</span></p> <p style="padding-left: 30px;"><span style="font-size: small;">2] It is also likely <strong>too soon</strong> for any expectation of meaningful results? especially considering my diet cheats and the vacation week</span></p> <p style="padding-left: 30px;"><strong><span style="font-size: small;">NOTES =</span></strong></p> <p style="padding-left: 30px;"><span style="font-size: small;">1] note re on your feet, less problems</span></p> <p style="padding-left: 30px;"><span style="font-size: small;">2] note re hairs</span></p> <p style="padding-left: 30px;"><span style="font-size: small;">3] note re conditon = 'x' is not 'y', x may be related to y,</span></p> <p style="padding-left: 30px;"><strong><span style="font-size: small;">REVISIONS =</span></strong></p> <p style="padding-left: 30px;"><span style="font-size: small;">1] strategy change = use topical treatment - daily * 4 * 28</span></p> <p style="padding-left: 30px;"><strong><span style="font-size: small;">CONCLUSIONS = </span></strong></p> <p style="padding-left: 30px;"><span style="font-size: small;">no noticeable improvement during this period</span></p> <h2>[REVIEW - FITNESS ]</h2> <p style="padding-left: 30px;"><span style="font-size: small;"><strong>SUMMARY =</strong></span></p> <p style="padding-left: 30px;"><span style="font-size: small;">This plan was/is more about changing my DIET vs being on an "exersize program" but exersize is good( perhaps a ?necessary evil). </span></p> <p style="padding-left: 30px;"><strong><span style="font-size: small;">PROGRESS = </span></strong></p> <p style="padding-left: 30px;"><span style="font-size: small;">I had 6/20 days where I "worked out". </span></p> <p style="padding-left: 30px;"><span style="font-size: small;">I also had 2/20 days where I "exersized".</span></p> <p style="padding-left: 30px;"><span style="font-size: small;">TOTAL PERIOD = 8/20 days (40%) where I "exersized" with a 30/10 split (W v E), that is down significantly from the 70% rate of the first 10 day period, but still something none the less. </span></p> <p style="padding-left: 30px;"><span style="font-size: small;"><strong>CONCLUSIONS =</strong></span></p> <p style="padding-left: 30px;"><span style="font-size: small;">I don't have/didnt specify a "fitness target" per se for this DIET plan (as of yet), however I still feel that I should try to pick it up to at least ~ 50 % ~</span></p> <p style="padding-left: 30px;"><span style="font-size: small;">NOTE that this "fitness" could be having "as big" an "effect" on <span style="text-decoration: underline;">my results</span> as the diet changes are/will have.</span></p> <h2>[ CONCLUSIONS = ]</h2> <p>- ]</p> <h1 style="text-align: center;"><strong> GOING FORWARD</strong></h1> <h2><strong>[ PLAN = ] </strong></h2> <p>TRY new strategy - treatment for 4 weeks ( r = worse, same, better )</p> <h2><strong>[ REVISIONS = ] </strong></h2> <p>DIET - ] no vacation week, ] TRY new blind weigh in strategy, ]</p> <p>HEALTH - (next 30) - ] TRY new trt strategy,</p> <p>FITNESS - ] maybe up exersize a bit</p> <h2><strong>[ CONCERNS = ] </strong></h2> <p>-- vacation-2016-002 -> <span style="text-decoration: underline;">Vacation Analysis</span> - / vacation was like a diet detour, / was some good eating, / it was NOT as bad as it could have been, / this happened quite early in this diet, so I expect that it messed up my early progress results (see Reminders) /</p> <p>- fresh fruit for another month, ( skip it and miss out VS enjoy it and risk another month without any progress ) </p> <h2><strong>[ REMEMBER/REMINDERS = ]</strong></h2> <p>- [x] this is a marathon, not a sprint, / youv'e done good on the first 30 days of the program (and gotten results), / you should be able to do even better in the next 30 days without vacation/+ more exersize</p> <h2>[ NEXT UPDATE = ]</h2> <p>- after-90-days - COMING - 2016-10</p> <p> </p> <h1 style="text-align: center;"> </h1>
