I had 3 weeks of losses totalling 10.5#, 1 week of gains (+5.0 #*) and 1 week of n/c ( averaging - 1.1#* week) NOTE this period included 1 week of vacation, which was also a vacation from this DIET. ] MILESTONE STATUS = # 2/5 (holding) ] PERIOD RATING = Good </span></p> </li> </ol> <p style="padding-left: 30px;"><strong><span style="font-size: medium;">FITNESS </span></strong></p> <ol> <li>] PERIOD RATING = Good - I believe that my Fitness regime has made a HUGE difference, If I ate what I ate and I never exercised or only exersized marginally, I expect that the progress would be significantly less</li> </ol> <p style="padding-left: 30px;"><strong><span style="font-size: medium;">HEALTH </span></strong></p> <ol> <li>] PERIOD RATING = OK - While it is "Somewhat Better" it is not cured</li> </ol> <p><span style="font-size: medium;">[ <strong>FEELS</strong> ]</span></p> <div><ol> <li>[2016-08-31] DIET/HEALTH += PIZZA bloat - after eating several slices of pizza and BREAD nibblerz, after a couple of hours was feeling pretty bloated and stomach was actually sore; learn to say NO to bread nibblerz</li> <li>....</li> <li>[2016-09-06] DIET/HEALTH x] # # - breakfast (cracker, mozza, tomato, tomato-sundried, oil, basil ) ] feeling - stomach - bloated, stomach pains, bb 90+</li> <li>[2016-mm-dd] += DIET PLAN - going forward - day</li> </ol></div> <p><span style="font-size: medium;"><strong>[ LEARNED ]</strong></span></p> <ol> <li>[2016-09-02] # # - += pesto - ] easy, ] tasty, ] fatty,</li> <li>[2016-09-dd] # # - salsa # 1</li> <li>[2016-09-dd] # # - salsa # 2 </li> </ol> <p><span style="font-size: medium;"><strong>[ REVIEW - DIET - PLAN vs ACTUAL = ]</strong></span></p> <ol> <li>] COMPARING - THE RESULTS to THE PLAN, lets summarize/highlight the good, the bad and the ugly - compare what you ACTUALLY ate to what you SHOULD HAVE eaten. I had 3 weeks of losses totalling 10.5#, 1 week of gains (+5.0 #*) and 1 week of n/c ( averaging - 1.1#* week) NOTE this period included 1 week of vacation, which was also a vacation from this DIET. </li> <li><span style="background-color: #c0c0c0;">] STATUS milestone # 2/5 (holding) </span></li> <li>] PERIOD RATING = Good </li> <li>] # 5417 - <a href="/view/article?id=5417" target="_blank">DIET-no-sugar-UPDATE-004-daily-summary</a> - a daily record of everything i ate during this period, + Health, + Fitness</li> <li>] well its been 90+* days and I am still chugging along ?slowly? down the DIET track. </li> <li>*] the + days is because of vacation, timing </li> <li>] I have made a fairly good chunk of progress </li> <li>] BUT I still have a FAIR ways to go, ... </li> <li>] REMINDER - its a marathon, NOT a sprint, ..</li> <li>] RE: ambitous target - ] its going to get tougher to lose, aka the last 20 will be harder to lose and take longer then the first 30 </li> <li>] I can't honestly say its been a strict/restricted diet, there has NOT been much that I have missed out on - could have gotten better RESULTS if I had been a little more consicentous</li> <li>] REMINDER - the IDEA at the outset was to change your eating habits/develop a sustainable </li> <li>] REMINDER - eating carrot sticks and salads, (steamed chickend and brown rice) only for 6 months might be more successfull short term, but would definetly NOT be sustainable long term</li> <li>] CONCERN - fresh fruit season is over and our copious supply of ( peaches, nectarines, plums, apples, cherries, blueberries ) is pretty much done. the next month or two should be OK with (apples, pears, ) but after that (DEC - APRIL) </li> <li>] REVISION going to stop reporting the daily records in the upd - this will save a bit of time and </li> <li>] I will do another update report after ( ] after-120 UPD 005 4 months, ] after-150 UPD 006 and ] after-180 UPD 007)</li> <li>] vacations really kicked your diet butt, so to speak, a couple of times. </li> <li>* = estimate</li> </ol> <p><span style="font-size: medium;"><strong>[ REVIEW - FITNESS = ]</strong></span></p> <ol> <li>] summary of fitness events - ? v plan ?</li> </ol> <p><span style="font-size: medium;"><strong>[ REVIEW - HEALTH ( CONDITION ) = ]</strong></span></p> <ol> <li>] SUMMARY - review of changes to condition. - REVIEW 90 days in,</li> <li>] PROGRESS - skin is looking much better on the front after resuming treatment on a consistent basis</li> <li>] CONCERNS - improvement is topical, when the treatments stop, the issue will return. </li> <li>] CONCLUSION - carry on with the current TRT strategy, need to keep digging (research) for ideas on what could be the underlying cause, </li> </ol> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-size: medium;"><strong>[ CONCLUSIONS = ] + REMINDERS </strong></span></p> <ol> <li>] EX TRY - Changing to a blind weigh-in strategy</li> <li> </li> <li>] REMINDER - # # - this is a marathon, this is NOT a sprint!</li> <li>] REMINDER - # # - the goal is to establish a "long term" maintainable "eating strategy" for eating well/healthy and maintaining a healthy weight </li> </ol> <p style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: medium;"><strong>GOING FORWARD</strong></span></p> <h2>[ PLAN ]</h2> <ol> <li>] DESCRIPTION / GOALS / STRATEGY / - no changes, </li> </ol> <h2>[ REVISIONS ]</h2> <ol> <li>] DIET - DECISION - should blind weigh ins - continue?
