OK so heres&nbsp;my story ... and I am sticking to it
... i am a web developer, i know my html, i know my javascript, i know my css, and i even know another development evironment, i know another OS and i know my way around windows
... i am new to windows 8 and i am new to windows 8 development
but that according to msft should not be an issue, the new ms apps are written in html, js and css AWESOME this should be a piece of cake!!!
I need/want to develop an "app" for the new microsoft (ms) windows "store". For your amusement purposes I have decided to document that journey. If your new to the windows application development world you can read along and hopefully save yourself some time and a pain point or two ...
If your an experienced pro at this and want a good laugh as&nbsp;I painfully struggle through the simplest of tasks ... enjoy&nbsp;!!&nbsp;and&nbsp;maybe , if your a kind soul,&nbsp; you could chip in and throw me a lifeline or two along the way ...&nbsp;as you see me carelessly careening off in the wrong direction ...
At this point in time its not really that important as to what the app is or what the app does, its not about the app per se... it is about seeing if i can use the web development skills that i already have,&nbsp;to build a native windows 8&nbsp;application ( using the available ms resources in&nbsp;a microsoft environment using microsoft tools )
so, lets get started !!
