The tires being run at Vegas <a href="http://bcove.me/9k3otpfz" target="_blank">were the same tire used last year</a> as discussed in this RaceHub segment with Bootie Barker and Matt Clark. </li> <li>] Toyota's engine woes(valve springs), present in both previous races at Phoenix and Daytona, may have been conquered. A QUOTE from a TRD engines spokesperson reported that "all TRD cars were turned off with the ignition switch" this weekend </li> </ol> <li><strong>x] Television(TV) coverage and Ratings </strong></li> <ol> <li>] This site has <a href="http://www.cawsnjaws.com/article/589/commercial-breakdown-and-links-related-to-the-2013-kobalt-tools-400" target="_blank">full stats for the TV broadcast</a> on FOX, which indicated that 136 minutes of the total 183 minutes of the TV broadcast was RACE COVERAGE (74.3%) and the balance COMMERCIALS(25.7%). </li> <li>] overnight ratings averaged a 4.4/10 for the Kobalt Tools 400. This rating is DOWN slightly (2/10th's) from last year's 4.6/10 for the same race, it still managed to rank as the highest-rated event of the weekend among the metered markets. This marks the third straight week in which NASCAR on FOX was the #1 event of its respective weekend. NASCAR Sprint Cup Series racing on FOX is averaging a 6.6/14 among the metered markets. That's up +14% over last year's season-to-date average of a 5.8/11.
