<p>inspired me to do my own take on that theme,&nbsp;</p>

<p>* i am a web applications developer and this is written from the perspective of a web applications development.&nbsp;</p>
<p><strong>a little bit - .net</strong></p>
<p>now of the great things about the .net platform is its breadth, you can develop many different types of applications including / services / web sites / web apis / windows application / mobile applications ...}</p>
<p><strong>HOWEVER</strong> with many choices, many tools, many frameworks, many ... aka we can end up with a certain level of COMPLEXITY / CONFUSION&nbsp;</p>
<p>here is an ILLuSTRATION i put together of what .net is and&nbsp;</p>
<p>so, where do you even begin ....</p>
<p><strong>a little bit - about this .net PRIMER&nbsp;</strong></p>
<p>* this PRIMER/TUTORIAL &nbsp;is written for anyone who may be interested in coming to / trying out / checking out the .net application development platform&nbsp;</p>
<p>WITHOUT investing a boatload of time installing a bunch of software and learning a bunch of new concepts, apis, programming lanugages etc</p>
<p>. MSFT still has some warts, as do all of our development options, however they are moving forward in a positive direction and&nbsp;</p>
