John Wes Townley wins the 50th annual ARCA race at Daytona

1. DESCRIPTION: John Wes Townley won the 50th annual ARCA race at Daytona driving a Toyota for Venturini Motorsports. Notable driver in the race lineup include the oldest driver in the race, who was 78 year old James Hylton(26th) who said it would be his last season after 50 years of NASCAR racing. Also Martinsville speedway president Clay Campbell who finished 14th.

Danica Patrick is fastest in the Daytona 500 2nd practice session with the best speed of the day @ 196.220 mph. Joey Logano was the fastest driver in the first practice session with a speed of 195.41

Matt also tweeted yesterday that a @speed producer had called him to apologize for speed tV announcer Mike Joy. After Kenseth was interviewed on speed, announcer Joy had stated to viewers, that Kenseth language was inappropriate and he apologized to viewers. Thing was, Kenseth never said anything inappropriate or offensive !!
