    1. x] Tom Jensen @fox /speed tv writes on the impressive run, finished the day in 4th spot and moved up to 16th in points (from 29th). Strong all day, Kurt was often found running the bottom groove of the track while most ran up in the higher groove. Pitting for a loose wheel  had him down 2 laps at 1 point in the race but he battled back and was one of the strongest cars at the end of the day. The top 5 finish was only the 4th in the 205 cup race history of the Denver, CO based single car team

    1. ] after the Daytona tweet up the ex-teammate's were at each other on twitter again. Apparently there has been no love lost between the 2 going back to their days as teammates at JGR. After the post race scuffle that followed the Bristol Race, they carried their "rivalry" over to social media channels ..

    1. ] This site has full stats for the TV broadcast on FOX, which indicated that 138 minutes of the total 191 minutes of the TV broadcast was RACE COVERAGE (72.25%) and the balance COMMERCIALS(27.75). 
    2. ] The race averaged a 4.3/10 in the overnight ratings. That's up +8% over last year's 4.0/10 for the same race. 
    3. ] So far this year, 3/4 races on FOX have posted a year-to-year increase. While yesterday's race was edged out by the NCAA SELECTION show on CBS (4.4/10) as the most watched sporting event, final projections may still place the race as the top event. In 4 races this season NASCAR ratings are up 13%.
    4. ] Attendance - although NASCAR no longer provide guesstimated attendance figures, the grandstands at the BMS race were noticebly nowhere near capacity, with some guess estimating at about 50% of the 160K speedway capacity.
