50+ of the best people to follow on g+ in 2014

[WHAT]

  1. *Interesting People to Follow on g+ - 2014* 
    1. Inspired by a g+ post that I saw yesterday by +Amanda Blain who is crowdsourcing a list of "People to follow in 2014", this is a LIST of the g+'rs who are posting interesting and informative content and engaging with their audiences, across a wide variety of categories(topics)
  2. I have created a 'categorized' and 'grouped' version of what I think "the list" should look like 
    1. using some (approx 100) of the "nominee's" from her post.

  5. Based on what i've seen so far there are a lot of good suggestions(and I've discovered a few gems already) 
    1. but scrolling through a list of 500 comments to filter out a number of "rockstars" should'nt be something that any 1 'person' does, hence the aforementioned list.

[WHY]

  1. ] IMO, it would be nice to have - "a list" of the "go to" people
    1. ] by subject category - where subject category is the subject that your interested in 
  2. ] expanding my horizons (via g+)
    1. ] my plan for 2014 is too take a minimum 2 week vacation from 'work' where I don't read a single article/item about all the subjects that i normally read about. {'technology, web development, programming, business, etc, etc} 
    2. ] during that time i would like to explore some topics that i havent looked at before, maybe learn a little about 'photography' or 'creative writing' or 'investing' or 'who knows what' Having a list of the the best g+'rs posting content on those topics would be an excellent start
