  1. ] if your not familiar with the hacker news community, we wrote a short description about it and why we feel that it is one of the many good things about the internet today

  2. ] best of is determined by community ranking (how many member upvotes the article got) and then curation ( manual selection of {interesting topics} by me )
  3. ] The date is linked to the Jonathan Dubin's site, Wayback HN which keeps  a listing of the top 30 stories by date from the hacker news website. 
  4. ] the initials beside the article title indicate the category the article belongs, too, see the [categories legend] linked below to decipher what categories the initials represent
  5. ] the listed article title is linked to the original(source) article, 
  6. ?] SRC is the source where the article was found on the internet,
  7. ] the comments are linked to the hacker news comments section for that article. *These comments/discussions are typically "a cut above" most web sites comments sections and are definetely worth checking out for the topics that you are interested in.
  8. ] The numbers beside the comments link, include the number of upvotes that the article recieved (on the left of the link) and the number of comments posted on the article(to the right of the link)
  9. *] IMPORTANT - draft - versions of these articles do NOT contain direct links to the comments section or the comment count and upvote totals for the article, these items will be added once comments have closed, to access comments, use the date link to take you to a the listings for the date on wayback hn site, then locate the article you are looking for and use that comments links
  10. ] description - is a brief manually created description of the articles content.
  11. ] the SUMMARY, ANALYSIS, REVIEW links besides SOME of the articles, link to a seperate article that have Summarized, Analyzed or Reviewed the content of the article
    1. ] SUMMARY - condenses the subject article to a few key sentences, automatic VS manual, bolds key content within those sentences,
    2. ] ANALYSIS - looks at the entire content of the given article and tries to FEATURE the pros and cons of the given subject and produce a summarized conclusions section 
    3. ] REVIEW - describes key points in
