my "cyber monday" blackberry purchase experience

[WHAT]

1. ] i heard about "the deal" on blackberry's z10 phone and I decided that i would purchase 1 of these phones. This is a step by step description of my "online experience" trying to purchase a blackberry z10 at the promotional price on that day.

[WHY]

1. so I go to "blackberry.com"
1. this gets redirected to ca.blackberry.com, which is fine(i am in ca), lets just find the blackberry "buy now" button
2. found the "z10", and have 2 options, i choose buy online and now i get a list of online vendors, ( would have preferred to purchase directly from blackberry.com BUT ...)
1. ] I choose the first online vendor in the list ...
3. I try "amazon.ca"
1. ] am immediately taken to the product page but the price of $389.00 is nowhere near the price in the deal, whats going on here?
4. I try "best buy"
1. ] here I have to choose the carrier(I choose telus, even though I want to purchase this phone unlocked) 
1. ] then i get page with no results
2. ] i then choose another carrier(choose rogers)
1. ] then i get another page with no results
5. I then try another vendor "future shop"
1. ] the page i am directed to ... doesnt load at all 
6. I try again, future shop 
1. ] this time the page eventually loads, (it looks like its showing the "blackberry.com" product page in a frame)
2. ] i choose carrier (telus), no results
3. ] i try the other 2 carries, again no results
4. ] i navigate to the blackberry products using the sites menu system and locate the z10 selection, they have numerous carrier products but no unlocked buy outright options. 
5. ] hmmmmm
7. ] so i go to "us.blackberry.com"
1. ] aha, getting warm, devices/z10/buytoday - an the first option on the online vendors page that comes up is shopblackberry.com , clicking ....
2. ] there it is for $399,  PROBLEM 1] is, thats NOT the price in the deal AND
3. ] PROBLEM 2 ] ships only to us addresses
8. ] OK, its back to square 1, where did i hear about this deal again ... 
1. ] another 15 minutes + wasted of digging thru my social media stream to find the post where i saw this deal mentioned ...
9. ] lets double check the fine print in the deal 
1. ] aha - there it is - until Dec 2. i am assuming it was on sale until yesterday ??
2. *] my mistake - i didnt catch the "until" part, guessing that because i am used to seeing "expires Dec 2" and offers being valid on that date, i just assumed, but that being said, it is CYBER MONDAY and if your going to have a sale on this weekend, you would think that ..... 
3. *] my mistake 2 - if you read about the deal carefully it mentions that the special offer price doesnt show up until you actually "checkout" of the store, so it may have still been valid on the 2nd.
10. ] &*%%$$# - so it looks like i missed the blackberry z10 deal bus
1. ] well then again, NOT really, with that whole 'ship to us addresses only' thing,
11. ] i would have had to jump 'through some more hoops' 
1. ] to actually land one of these here in Canada, for that price, which is only more aggravating because Blackberry is a Canadian company based in Canada!!!
12. ] oh well
1. ] the nexus 5 is $349  

[WHERE]

1. ] UPDATE try another vendor "Bell Canada"
1. ] page loads quickly, looks the best of all the sites ive visited AND has the option to purchased off contract, the PROBLEM is THEIR PRICE @ $ 649.00

[WHEN]

1. ] UPDATE [2014-mm-dd] blackberry.ca
1. ] has now added the ability for Canadians to order directly from their website. The current regular price for the z10 appears to be $299.00 CDN
