    2. ] GM - i aplaud the tax cut on the middle class but you went the other way on the 1%'ers, ... preamble ... I employ tons of people,  ... preamble ..., small business employs tons of people, how does increasing the tax rate to in some cases 57/58 %(combined provincial/federal), stimulate the economy?, give me the incentive to grow?, keep top talent? and hire more people? // one thing i would like you to be mindful, is those people that make more then 200K, it isnt the fat cat beauracrat sitting in the corner office, its the small business owner, we want to help grow the economy, how are we going to do that if we are being taxed to death?
    3. ] JT - "how do we define a strong economy - i define it by the largest number of good jobs for the largest number of people. over the last 30 years middle class incomes have stalled. Cost of living has increased, people haven't had a real raise in 30 years. In order to compensates for that, were asking those who make > 200K to pay a little more. //  corporate taxes are the same, we are lowering the small business tax to 9%, on the personal tax rates, this country does well when more people have more money to spend, putting the money in the hands of people who spend/invest it is good for your business."
    4. [06:02] GM - i run the largest mortgage company in the company, the real estate industy has been the bright spot of the canadian economy for the last 10 years, mortgage debt isnt a problem in Canada, 1 of the biggest ways you could help is regulating credit card debt, Canadian refinancing mortgages to pay off high interest unsecured credit card debt. Is there any thought/conversations on regulating CC debt?
    5. ] JT - // you highlight the problem of personal debt, Canadians are at a very high level of hh debt, average over 28K(old stat), we need to make sure the economy is growing and that people have a level of financial literacy, but yes were working with banks and making sure regulations are in place that will keep Canadians safe, the biggest one is we need to create opportunity to grow the economy in a responsible way and get people into good jobs, get people the financial literacy needed to know that you cant borrow now and pay later. I am really worried about household debt in this country and we need to work to make sure were giving people a way out of that path.
