  1. ] onion-cooking, 1 medium
  2. ] carrot, 1 large
  3. ] leek, 1
  4. ] cauliflower, 1 medium
  5. ] vegetable soup broth, campbells, 2 cups/500 ml
  6. ] sour cream, 1/2 cup/125 ml
  7. ] dill, fresh 1/2 cup* || 2 Ta (dried)
  8. ] tumeric, 2 pinch
  9. ] salt, 2 Ta
  10. ] pepper, 1/2 Te
  11. ] magee seasoning 2 Ta
  12. ] butter, 2 Ta*
  13. ] croutons, [OPTIONAL]

] recipe.instructions

  1. ] dice onion
  2. ] cut carrot into bite size peices
  3. ] strip 2 leaves from leek and chop into fine peices
  4. ] place onion, carrot, leek and butter into large pot and suate until cooked
  5. ] break cauliflower into florets
  6. ] add cauliflower to sauted vegetables
  7. ] cover vegetables with water
  8. ] add vegetable broth
  9. ] bring water to a boil and then reduce heat and simmer until cauliflower is cooked.
  10. ] add sour cream and fresh dill to soup
  11. ] add seasonings (salt, pepper, tumeric, magee)
  12. ] use handheld blender to puree soup OR add soup to blender and puree to desired consistency
  13. ] pour soup into bowls and top with croutons

  1. ] note = batch 2016-11- ] saute veg in bacon fat, nice, ] used homemade veg broth, ] OOS magee, ] 2 carrots vs 1, ] used a little too much water, nicer when consistency is a bit thicker
