OS troubleshooting 101

define the issue -

  1. ] no_power - nothing - i press the on button and nothing happens
  2. ] no_Post - beeps - i press the on button and my computer starts beeping
  3. ] no_Boot  - no desktop - i press the power button and my computer starts but i cant get to the (a,my,any) windows desktop
  4. ] os functionality - issue/function - ] install app, ] remove app,
  5. ] Application functionality - app - i press the power button and my computer starts fine BUT when i open <app name> this happens
