[WHAT]

  1. ] MYTH  
    1. use snapchat to send your 'message' and your message will 'dissapear' from the recipients device once they view it
  2. ] REALITY
    1. your 'message' will NOT dissappear

[WHY]

  1. ] your message will be displayed temporarily(based on a timeframe you specify) to the recipient that you send it to... THEN
  2. ] your message will still remain on the recipients device, it will be 'flagged' so that other applications will NOT 'see' it, but 'the actual' message is still there 

[WHERE]

  1. ] your recipient ALSO has the option to capture your message, via many other methods like 
  2. ] your message can also be intercepted by 'others' (ex NSA) that are monitoring internet traffic. 

[WHEN]

  1. ] you want to send distribute a "message" that you don't want to broadcast publicly to the "whole world"
    1. for example VS using twitter / facebook / ??? to share your message publicly

    1. ] but don't share a selfie, ugly or not, or any other file, for that matter, UNLESS you are willing to risk the 'message' being in circulation forever. 
    2. ] And if you're not willing to risk it being in circulation forever, consider not even taking it in the first place.
