  1. ] spinach, 8 oz
    1. ] fresh is best when in season
    2. ] packaged leaves will suffice
  2. ] onion, red - 1/8 medium
  3. ] mushrooms, white, 6 medium
  4. ] croutons, Fresh Gormet - multigrain OR superstore bulk ceasar
  5. ] eggs-hb(2)
  6. ] bacon - 4 strips
  7. ] 1/4 teaspoon salt*
  8. ] 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  9. ] dressing, ranch style OR ...

] recipe.instructions

  1. ] wash spinach leaves thoroughly
  2. ] dry spinach leaves thoroughly
  3. ] divide the washed and dryed spinach leaves into 2 large salad serving bowls
  4. ] slice red onion into razor thin slices and add to salad bowls as per individual taste
  5. ] hard boil 2 eggs, peel and then slice the hardboiled eggs into slices, top spinach leaves with egg slices 
  6. ] pan fry bacon slices until they are very well done (aka extra crispy), remove from pan and place on paper towels to absorb excess bacon fat and let them cool off
  7. ] after the bacon slices have cooled off, you should be able to crumble the 2 slices of bacon onto each salad bowl ( if it doesnt crumble, chop it up with a knife ) 
  8. ] add your croutons
  9. ] add dressing
  10. ] add salt and pepper
