the startup freelancer

[WHAT]

  1. http://vassvdm.ghost.io/the-startup-freelancer/  I help early stage startups get their MVPs out the door. That means I get involved when the first server needs to be set up, the first database installed, the first repo created and the first line of code hastily banged out. There’s something about those first moments of a startup’s existence that is hard to produce – the thrill of a newborn idea coupled with the urgency of the penniless.
  2. ] choose my clients carefully – I only work on products and for teams I believe in. I don’t charge much at all and I don’t take any equity. And I only work remotely, from the comfort of my own apartment. I freelance one day - or, more precisely - ten hours a week. This may sound surprising if you work at a startup. Startups are only successful if they move fast. How can I contribute anything of value if I’m not there most of the time?
