Now, Google is complying by offering a web page where people can submit URLs they want Google to delete from their Search index.     1. ] Apple is talking to retail store chains about an Apple mobile payment system. 9to5Mac’s Mark Gurman reports that the payment service would enable iPhone users to buy things in retail stores using their phones, and the payment would be processed through their existing iTunes accounts.

    1. ] We told you yesterday about the sudden and mysterious demise of TrueCrypt, an open source encryption application. Visitors to the TrueCrypt web site since Wednesday have been redirected to a page on the open course community site SourceForge advising users to stop using the product because of “unfixed security issues.” It turns out that the anonymous volunteer developers of TrueCrypt just got tired of doing it, and made a hasty, if awkward, exit. But now, a group of other security experts are planning to develop a fork of TrueCrypt and make it a going concern again -- if they can work out the legal rights to the code.
