    9. ] siri - always on, 'hey siri', also has shazam integration and will ask you if you want to buy the song its hearing
  3. [17:00] swift - the new programming language, that is replacing Objective C w/Tim Stevens @Tim_Stevens @CNET,
    1. ] its time, Objective C was dated, cumbersome, difficult too learn
    2. ] swift takes the best from Objective C and brings in features from new languages like python
    3. ] also new tools, IDE and debugging environments
    4. ] both languages compile to same bytecode, so Objective C can still be used, likely AAPL will push/encourage developers to use the new Swift language
    5. ] benchmarks showed that Swift applications run much quicker the Objective C applications, apps could be more responsive to user
    6. ] Swift opens up development to newer developers, b/c its a lot easier to learn and test
