Oatmeal-3 peanut butter & banana

- ] water, 1 1/2 cups
- ] milk, 1 1/2 cups
- ] chia seeds, 1 Ta, 4 Ta
- ] flax seeds, 1 Ta
- ] peanut butter, 4 Ta
- ] banana, 1
- *** OPTIONAL INGREDIENTS ***
- ] Sugar,Brown, 1 Ta OR ] honey(1 Ta)
- ] raisins-sultana, 1/2 cup
- ?] cranberries(1/2 handful), ?
- ?] cinnamon(1tsp),?
- *** OPTIONAL TOPPING IDEA'S ***
- ] walnuts, $15-20 KG
- ] almonds, chopped, sliced, roasted, $20-40 KG
- ] cream
- ] peanut butter
] recipe.instructions =
- ] Place oatmeal in pot on stove.
- ] Add water
- ] Add milk
- ] Add chia and flax seeds
- ] let soak for approx 1 hour
- ] add banana
- ] chop dates into small peices, (they will blend into the oatmeal during cooking, giving a sweeter flavor)
- ] ADD ?sugar? and any other optional ingredients you want to include, stir.
- ] simmer over low heat until oatmeal is fully cooked ( approx 20 minutes), stir occassionally
- ] go nuts and and top your oatmeal off with some of the items from the [optional topping ideas] list to really jazz up your oatmeal

- D,S - 4/10 - kind of bland, seems a little glutenous too, (TRY maybe cut back on seeds, TRY maybe soaked too long), TRY add raisins Had to top this version with 1 more Ta of PB to eat it, could reslly use some ?sweetness?. Perhaps it will be better cold?
