I have a laptop PC, i have a desktop PC, i have a PC that I work on at the office, I have a mobile phone, I have a tablet
I have a gmail account, a twitter account, a google plus account and several more service accounts.
Everyone of 'these devices' and everyone of 'these services' has bits of 'my data' stored on it
Apart from the fact that using multiple devices and multiple services is somewhat counter intuitvie/productive,
