] its easier (and cheaper) than ever to start a technology startup (web app/service/site )

] BUT - more people than ever before are doing it, IMO the hard part now is 1] rising above the noise, - getting your startup noticed and then adopted by the customers that you are targeting in the markets that you are in.
] AND - 2] you still need tech skills, and depending on factors in your market these skills can be ] expensive and ] hard to find, - while any tech savvy 15 yo maybe able to put together a web app that does something cool that people need/want, will "that app" support 1M+ users, will it support 1M users at the same time, is the code base maintainable by other developers, can it be expanded, is it secure?, there are likely 99+ questions like these that you need to have the answers to ...
] a startup is the hardest thing you'll ever do --
