Hi my name is Don Sagrott and I am a local full stack web developer.

I am currently looking to take on some additional web development work. I can dedicate 20 - 30 hours per week to your project.

I charge $25 per hour on purchases of 100 hour blocks, $35 per hour for 40+ hour bookings or $50 per hour on an as needed hourly basis.

So, what do you get for an hour of my time?

The best thing about web development? What a great question, don't make me pick just one - IMO -

/starting from scratch and creating something from nothing,

/automating tasks that increase increase productivity,

/so many shiny new tools ~ coming out ~ all the time

- these are all things that spring to mind when I think about what I love about the craft.

I am currently working on my own tech startup company, where I design, develop and maintain programs in both javascript and c#.

> Honestly, front end design is not my primary expertise, but given a little bootstrap and a little time, I am confident that I could create some first class responsive websites. I put together a portfolio page with a few examples of some work i have done.

about jquery(jq), i know it well and i love jquery, still. Others are saying you might not need jquery anymore, and that can be true, given some of the performance enhancements that can be had without it, however, like most things in life, there are always tradeoffs, so the thing here is being able to recognize when the pros will outweigh the cons. At the end of day, jq, like all javascript libraries, is really just a whole bunch of javascript.

about javascript(js), I believe, I am pretty darn good with javascript too! I won't tell you that i've never written Object Oriented js code using typical classical OO inheiritance pattern, but I can tell you that i've got a handle on using prototypal inheiritance and can even explain why it's better.

about liquid ? - i am assuming your referring to Shopify's templating engine? -  I haven't worked with that one specifically - but i am familiar with using templating systems like those used in AngularJS and ember and asp.net

If I can answer any other questions you many have OR provide you with a project quote, please feel free to contact me.

Thanks for your consideration

Regards

Don
