[WHAT]

  1. ] PAGE displays the details/particulars of a given Service, Product as well as some other records,
  2. ] this page is used to display Service Details for each of the Services listed,
  3. ] this page is used to display Product Details for each of the Products listed,
  4. ] this page also used to display content for ] Mission Statement, ] Areas Serviced and ] FAQ pages. ] Privacy Statement, ]

[WHERE called from]

[HOW-TO]

  1. ] Getting There
    1. ] login to your account at sospep.com
    2. ] on the main menu, use the view/subjects option to display all libraries, select the "enviro-mint.ca" library
    3. ] open the book named "website content"
  2. ] Changing the "title" of Service
    1. ] see "getting there" steps 1 - 3
    2. ] open the chapter named "Services"
    3. ] choose the "edit article" link for the article record which you want to change the title of,
    4. ] edit the title text to what you would like it to be *] REMINDER titles should have no spaces and wont allow some special characters like (/, \, ? )
    5. ] save changes
  3. ] Changing the "description" of a Service
    1. ] see "getting there" steps 1 - 3
    2. ] click the "edit article" link for the article record which you want to change the description of,
    3. ] edit the "description text" to what you would like it to be
    4. ] save changes
  4. ] Changing the "image" displayed for a Service
    1. ] see "getting there" steps 1 - 3
    2. ] click the "edit article" link for the article record which you want to change the image of
    3. ] click the "Browse" button located beside the "Change Photo" option and then select the image you want to upload.
    4. *] IMAGE note - this is the image that will appear at the top of the Service Detail page for this record

  5. ] Change the "content" displayed in the "Service details" page

    2. *] the CONTENT field is what shows up in the text of the web page
    3. ] choose the "view article" link for the article record which you want to change the "content" text
    4. ] use the "Edit Content" link at the top of the content window to put the content into "Edit Mode"
    5. ] edit the "change text" to what you would like it to be
    6. ] save content changes using the "save diskette icon" at the top left of the "content editing toolbar"
    7. *] content editor is full featured rich text editor. You can add formatting, styles, lists, and more into your text
  6. ] Adding a new "Service Details" page
    1. ] see "getting there" steps 1 - 3
    2. ] on the View articles page, use the add page icon(+) on the toolbar at the top of the page to create a new page
    3. ] fill out the required page details including "title" and "description"  
    4. ] save page 
  7. ] Removing an exisiting "Service Details" page
    1. ] see "getting there" steps 1 - 3
    2. ] open the chapter named "Services"
    3. ] choose the "delete article" option for the record which you want to delete,
    4. *] NOTE if you want to keep a copy of the record, BUT just not display it on the public web site, you can MOVE the record to another chapter where it will not display (ex index)
