Canada is contributing to algae biofuel production more than you know! Canadian native, Paul Woods, is the founder and CEO of Algenol Biofuels. Today, Algenol’s patented technology enables the production of the four most important fuels (ethanol, gasoline, jet, and diesel fuel) for around $1.27 per?gallon each using proprietary algae, sunlight, carbon dioxide and saltwater at production levels of 8,000 total gallons of liquid fuel per acre per year. Algenol's technology produces high yields and relies on Algenol’s patented photobioreactors and proprietary downstream techniques for low-cost fuel production. These novel, low-cost techniques have the added benefit of consuming carbon dioxide from industrial sources, not using farmland or food crops, and being able to provide freshwater. For more information about Algenol, please visit www.algenol.com or https://www.youtube.com/user/AlgenolBiofuels

Here's the ultimate cleantech investment for Canada, looking for for about $2B for 2021 factory production. This machine based on the successful test Molten Salt Reactor which ran for 10 years at Oak Ridge runs at atmospheric pressure in an extremely simple rail car transportable factory built structure. University of Ottawa's LeBlanc's expert engineering analysis and redesign claims the machine would be less than a half penny a kwh. If successful it would be would be be a trillion dollar boom and massive job producer for BC and Canada.

Actually liberal forever, that is not entirely true. Renewables in the US represent about 12% of total energy produced. If the Bloomberg numbers are correct, they receive only about 8% of the subsidies. Here are the production numbers:
