<h3>[WHAT]</h3>
<p>This feature enables&nbsp;you to move a&nbsp;step record from 1&nbsp;"procedure" container to another&nbsp;"procedure" container.</p>
<h3>&nbsp;[WHY]</h3>
<p>After a&nbsp;step record&nbsp;is created and located within a procedure,&nbsp;you may decide to "move" the record&nbsp;or place it within another&nbsp;procedure container.</p>
<h3>[WHERE]</h3>
<p>The Move&nbsp;Step feature can be found on the&nbsp;<span style="text-decoration: underline;">Edit Step</span>&nbsp;page in the&nbsp;sospep.systems application.&nbsp;You can access the feature by clicking the&nbsp;link named "Move Step" which is located beside the&nbsp;"Procedure Name"&nbsp;textbox on the Edit Step&nbsp;Page.</p>
<h3>[WHEN]</h3>
<p>After a&nbsp;"Step" record has been created within a&nbsp;"Procedure" and you decide to change the location of that&nbsp;"Step" record to another(different)&nbsp;"Procedure" container.</p>
<h3>[EXAMPLE]</h3>
<p>( ] Lets assume that you have created a "step" record in your "procedure"&nbsp;container named "recipe-beef-stew". ] You have completed&nbsp;a&nbsp;step record that exists in the "recipe-beef-stew" container&nbsp;and you would like to MOVE&nbsp;that completed "step" RECORD&nbsp;out of the current procedure container into another container.&nbsp;&nbsp;] Now lets also assume that you have a&nbsp;Procedure named dinner-beef-stew and that you would like the completed record(s) to appear in that procedure&nbsp;container. )</p>
<p>&nbsp;Anytime that&nbsp;you have&nbsp;a completed Step record that exists within 1&nbsp;Procedure container and that&nbsp;you would like to MOVE&nbsp;said&nbsp;Step to another&nbsp;Procedure container, simply&nbsp;follow the&nbsp;steps in one of the following methods.</p>
<h3>[HOW-TO]</h3>

<li><strong>METHOD 1 -&nbsp;MOVE&nbsp;STEP RECORD TO&nbsp;A DIFFERENT&nbsp;PROCEDURE CONTAINER</strong></li>

<li><strong>] Navigate to the&nbsp;edit record page</strong> - for the record that you wish to change the location of ...</li>
<ol>
<li><strong>EXAMPLE=&nbsp;&nbsp;<a href="http://my.sospep.com/editArticle/1234">http://my.sospep.com/editStep/1234</a>, </strong></li>
<li><strong>WHERE "my" - </strong>is the name of your sospep</li>
<li><strong>WHERE "1234" </strong>is the&nbsp;"step ID#" of the&nbsp;"Step" that you wish to move</li>
</ol>
<li><strong>] Change the parent_id feild of the record</strong> to the "step_id #"&nbsp;of the&nbsp;"Procedure" that you would like the&nbsp;"step" to appear in.</li>
<li><strong>] Click the "Update" button</strong></li>

<li><strong>METHOD 2 -&nbsp;MOVE&nbsp;STEP RECORD TO&nbsp;A DIFFERENT&nbsp;PROCEDURE CONTAINER</strong></li>

<li><strong>] Navigate to the update record&nbsp;page -</strong>&nbsp;for the record that you wish to change the location of ...</li>

<li><strong>WHERE "my" - </strong>is the name of your sospep</li>
<li><strong>WHERE "1234" -&nbsp;</strong>is the Step_Id# of the&nbsp;Step that you wish to move</li>

<li><strong>] Use the select boxes</strong> in&nbsp;the&nbsp;Select&nbsp;Procedure dialog box to&nbsp;choose the location of the&nbsp;Procedure that you&nbsp;would like to move the&nbsp;"step" to.&nbsp;</li>
<li><strong>] Click the "Move" button</strong></li>
<li><strong>] Click the Update button.</strong></li>
