This feature enables you to send a sospep "task" record ( or records ) via email to an email recipient or recipients ...
You can select the recipient or recipients email address from&nbsp;your sospep people&nbsp;records OR&nbsp;you can manually specify(enter) an email address or addresses
sospep provides 3 options to send the email, the default option is to use your computers installed email program to send the message, the next option is to use our email gateway&nbsp;or you can specify use your own/current email provider gateway.&nbsp;Click the aforementioned links to read the pros and cons of each option as well as how to setup or configure that option.
<h3>[WHY]</h3>
] write a seperate email when you can just send a copy of&nbsp; a task record that you already have created.
<h3>[WHERE]</h3>
This&nbsp;feature is currently&nbsp;available from the viewTaskDetail page in the Events app.
<h3>[WHEN]</h3>
You want to email (the "content" feild of) a&nbsp;task record to an email recipient or recipients
<h3>[EXAMPLE]</h3>
] lets say you have created a task record, EX TASK&nbsp;] buy milk on the&nbsp;way home from work, and it is in your sospep tasklist, now as you&nbsp;know according to ] LIFE RULE # x SHE-ITE HAPPENS, THINGS CHANGE&nbsp;and you realize that for some reason you won't be able to make it home in time for dinner,&nbsp;so you decide that you will email your&nbsp;[spouse/child/sibling/freind/...] and ask&nbsp;[selected&nbsp;person&nbsp;or persons] to complete the task on your behalf, Now in the old days(pre&nbsp;sospep) you may have&nbsp;1] opened your email program, 2] written a new&nbsp;email message ] addressed the message, and then ] sent&nbsp;the message&nbsp;off to , ... waited for a reply ...&nbsp;but now that you have become&nbsp;enlightened sospepper, you can&nbsp;simply ....&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
PS you can also use "simple SMS" or "SMS"&nbsp;features (available in our premium version) to send a&nbsp;text message to&nbsp;said person or persons&nbsp;cell phone #, using almost exactly the process. NOTE=text message size limitiation &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
<h3>[HOW-TO] [user]</h3>

<li>] Navigate to the Task record, viewTaskDetail page for the task record&nbsp;that you wish to email.</li>

<li>EXAMPLE= <a href="http://firstname.lastname.sospep/viewTask/1234">http://firstName.lastName.sospep/viewTask/1234</a>, WHERE 1234 is the id# of the record</li>

<li>] On viewTaskDetail page, Click the&nbsp;"eMail Record" button</li>

<li>NOTE= default SEND method will be to use the default email client, (add notify customer of advance of email send options)</li>

<li>1] SELECTING OR&nbsp;MANUALLY ENTERING an email recipient or recipients&nbsp;(skip this step if you just want to manually enter/type the email address)</li>

<li>] selecting a community - from your People communities will send the email to all members of the community who have a valid email address, select community from list, click Send or Preview&nbsp;</li>
<li>] selecting a community member - from your People communities will send the email to all members of the community member&nbsp;who have a valid email address, select community member from community members list, click Send or Preview&nbsp;</li>
<li>] selecting a community member memberGroup - from your People, this&nbsp;will send the email to all members of the community member membergroup that you select,&nbsp;who have a valid email address, click Send or Preview&nbsp;</li>
<li>] selecting an individual&nbsp; email address -&nbsp;from your People, this&nbsp;will send the email to&nbsp;only the&nbsp;member of the community member membergroup that you select,&nbsp;if they have a valid email address, click Send or Preview&nbsp;</li>
<li>] ENTER an email address or addresses - you can manually enter an email address in this text box, </li>

<li>] Click SEND ...</li>

<li>Will send the email to the selected recipient or recipients and return you to the viewRecordDetail page.</li>

<li>] Click PREVIEW</li>
<ol>
<li>This page will show you the record as it will be formatted in the email message, it will include the to, cc and bcc recipients feilds as well as the subject and body of the email</li>
<li>The Preview page&nbsp;will also provide the OPTIONS to either ]&nbsp;SEND (see Step 3) OR ] CANCEL the message.&nbsp;</li>
