Butterless Mashed Potatoes

 

] recipe.ingredients =

  1. ] potatoes ( 4 large ), yukon gold
  2. ] bacon fat ( 2 oz)
  3. ] cheese, laughing cow, (2 peices)
  4. ] salt ( 1/2 te )
  5. ] pepper ( 1/8 te )

 

] recipe.instructions

  1. ] cut potato's into 1/4's
  2. ] place potatoes in a pot and cover with water
  3. ] bring water to boil and cook potatoes until cooked all the way through ( approximately 20 - 25  minutes)
  4. ] remove from heat and drain water
  5. ] add bacon fat and cheese peices
  6. ] cover and let stand for 2 - 3 minutes until cheese and fat has melted completely
  7. ] use potato masher to mash the pototes
  8. ] finish mashing with a fork for a smoother, creamier consistency
