  1. ] lettuce, romaine, 8 large leaves
  2. ] ceasar, salad dressing, renees gourmet, 2 Ta
  3. ] bacon, schneiders, extra thick, 8 slices
  4. ] onion-red, 1/4 medium,
  5. ] lemon juice, 1/2 Te
  6. ] parmiagianno reggiano, 1 oz, fresh grated
  7. ] croutons, Fresh Gourmet multigrain OR superstore bulk ceasar

] recipe.instructions

  1. ] tear romaine lettuce leaves into bite size peices
  2. ] wash thoroughly - salad spinner is a good option here
  3. ] dry thrououghly - see above,
  4. *] TIP place the dried lettuce into the fridge for 30 minutes before preparing to add some extra crispiness to the lettuce
  5. ] slice red onion into razor thin slices
  6. ] cook bacon slices ( pan / microwave) until well done (aka crispy).
  7. ] allow bacon to cool, then crumble into bite size peices
  8. ] combine all salad ingredients except 1/2 of the parmesan and half of the croutons into large salad mixing bowl
  9. ] add dressing mixture and toss salad ingredients
  10. ] top with remaining half of grated parmiagianno reggiano
  11. ] salt and pepper to taste
