i hate windows 8 because ...

1. ] This article attempts to outline some of the reasons why (43.6%) people hate windows 8. The 'reasons' were gathered from reading hundreds of comments on a few different forums where people had expressed their 'hate' of the new operating system and actually given a reason why. What follows is a listing of some of the recurring "issues" that the people who proclaim to HATE windows 8 are having ...
1. TIPS - i've also added in some (hopefully) helpful TIPS if your using windows 8 and your experiencing some of these same HATE issues.

[WHY] some people hate it ...

1. some say - "where is the start button?"
1. TIP 1 -  you dont need the start button-part-1-basics, really, i am serious forget about that start button&menu, the start screen is the new start button&menu, only better !!
2. TIP 2 - you dont need the start button-part-2-navigating,
3. TIP 3 - you dont need the start button-part-3-organizing,
2. some say - "its ugly"
1. your right - keeping in mind that 'style' is purely subjective and someone else could say "its beautiful" and they are right too.
2. TIP 4 - customizing your start screen, customizing your lock screen, customizing your desktop background, customizing your windows theme,
3. some say - "i dont need this touch based stuff", i only work with a mouse and keyboard,
1. your right - you dont have to use it! YOU dont need to use it, and guess what IF AND WHEN you decide that you do want to use it, its there for you to use.
2. TIP 5 - see TIP(S) 1, 2 and 3 for getting started with windows 8, each points out the methods that you would use to "do stuff" with 1] the KEYBOARD, 2] the MOUSE and 3] the FINGER. Ignore # 3.
4. some say - "there are no APPS"
1. TIP 6 - YES - they are entirely correct! - I confirmed this by going to google and doing a search on "windows 8 apps". I got absolutely 0 results. I couldnt believe it, i dont know if I can ever recall getting 0 results on a google search for anything. ever.
2. Sooooo, what to do - i then did a search on windows 7 programs. I got 27 trillion results. guess what - windows 7 programs still work in windows 8, so do vista programs, xp programs ....as a matter of FACT some are even saying you can run DOS programs.
3. hyper v - you can run a linux machine, run all your linux programs,
4. the windows store - the apps are coming, large developer base, ms has got a big campaign , now throw in the fact that the new apps can be written in js anyone who has developed a web application  , will scale, if w8 adoption goes crazy, the app store will go crazy, if w8 adoption lags,
5. some say - "the integration of old and new is not perfect"
1. one minute i am full screen, the next minute i am on the desktop, i minute i am in ie 10 APP the address bar is at the bottom, the favorites, , the next minute i am in ie 10 program the address bar i back at the top
6. some say - "msft is going to lock me into their ecosystem"
1. getting locked into any 1 manufacturers ecosystem of products and choices by mfg's design of said ecosystem is not necessarily a good choice for the consumer. how is msft going to play this game?
7. some say - "they took away my toys"

8. some say - "there are ads in the native apps"

here are the even better reasons that you often read/see and hear  

1. some say - "i have real work to do"
1. how much time did you spend actually learning a little about "how to use windows-8" before you installed it, tried to use it and then got frustrated - OK then, and of that 45 minutes, how much of that was spent installing pooky or smooky whatever the latest "i-want-my-windows-start-button-back"  app is?
2. TIP 3 - invest a bit of time learning about how windows 8 works before you get frustrated trying to figure it out on your own.
2. some say - "its NOT like" windows _x_?   
1. TIP 4  - windows 8 is not EXACTLY like windows 7 or windows vista or windows XP or ..., accept that, own it, move on with your life .. 
1. Hey, im not knocking windows 7, its a great os! but getting back to all that "real work" you have to do, which i am assuming that your talking about running applications that "do stuff" thats "important to you", lets compare 1 example
2. windows 8 - ] turn on computer, ] login, ] type "excel", ] BEGIN REAL WORK
3. windows 7 - ] turn on computer, ] login, ] click start, ] click all programs, ] click microsoft office, ] click office excel, ] BEGIN REAL WORK
3. some say - "i hate microsoft"
1. your right ms is a money grubbing corporation, that wants to do nothing more than seperate you from your hard earned $. Now in all fairness to ms (those money grubbing *&*)*_)*), a recent study of corporations worldwide concluded that exactly 99.999 % of corporations, wanted to "get your money".
2. The executives from these corporations were cited as saying " it would much more convenient for them, if you just sent them your money directly, without them having to deliver any types of products or services, for that money.
4. some say - "windows 8 is the new vista"
1. windows 8 == windows 8
2. windows 8 == windows 7 + 1
